Volume I, the OnAir Player Handbook, has been regenerated from the current server build, so every formula, constant and threshold in it matches the game as it runs today. It remains the reference for how the economy works: airports, FBOs, fuel, maintenance, skills, flight scoring, missions, the fleet, industries and the full server schedule, with a TL;DR at the end of every chapter.

Volume II, the OnAir Companion Reference, is new. It is the Companion app page by page: every screen you can open, every control on it, and what each one actually does. It is the same text as the “?” button in the app, gathered into one book you can read end to end or search when a button puzzles you. Where Volume I explains why the server behaves as it does, Volume II answers a narrower question: what is this control, and what happens if I press it? The Companion is in beta and changes often, so the “?” button in the app is always the freshest version.

Each volume comes in three editions: standard for reading on a computer, printable for paper, and reader for tablets and e-readers. Everything is on the wiki: OnAir Player Handbooks.

We are also working on Volume III, getting-started guides that walk you through a single sub-system at a time, from first click to first paycheck. The first chapters cover Freelance mode, Company Jobs and Work Orders, and more will follow as the beta goes on. No release date yet, we will announce it here.

It is a work in progress, with new chapters added and existing ones updated as the beta goes on.
