We’ve just released OnAir Companion v1.0.249, focused primarily on improving connection reliability and reducing login issues reported over the past few days.
Some users experienced connectivity problems when using the Companion behind corporate proxies, HTTPS-intercepting antivirus/security software (such as Avast, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, ESET, or Zscaler), or during first-time installations in countries with restrictive ISPs.
This update significantly strengthens the Companion’s connection layer and should greatly improve reliability in those environments.
Other improvements included in this update
- A more prominent “Register Flight” banner at the end of flights
- Smooth scrolling improvements for large accounts in:
- Cashflow
- Job Market
- Flight Logs
- Aircraft Market
- New “Reveal diagnostic log” button in Settings → About to simplify troubleshooting and log sharing
- Cleaner sidebar visuals and unified aircraft class badges
The complete changelog is available directly inside the Companion through the “What’s New” window.
If auto-update does not trigger:
- Visit https://onair.company/companion
- Download the latest installer
- Run it normally
The installer will update your existing installation while keeping your settings and configuration intact. Automatic updates should resume normally afterward.
A huge thank you to everyone who reported issues and shared logs over the past few days — your feedback directly helped us identify and fix these problems quickly.
